Financial wellbeing explained Financial wellbeing is about feeling secure and confident when it comes to your money. We know that with countless financial products out there to choose from, jargon to cut through, and an ever-changing financial landscape, it can be difficult to feel fully confident and able to make informed decisions about your money. Our Financial Wellbeing Team exists to help people better understand financial products, manage their money, and build financial resilience. We use the terms ‘financial wellbeing,’ ‘financial capability,’ ‘financial education,’ and ‘money guidance’ to describe the work of our Financial Wellbeing Project. As part of the project, our Financial Wellbeing Officers deliver informative and interactive sessions to provide financial education and money guidance. These sessions break down various financial topics, making them less complicated, practical, and easy to understand. You can find out more about our sessions here. . Money guidance is not money advice. If you are looking for tailored advice or are experiencing financial difficulty, please get in touch with a free money advice service. You can find details of free services that can help here. . Watch our short video on what financial wellbeing means at Money Advice Scotland. Manage Cookie Preferences
