Supporting your team’s wellbeing starts with truly understanding it. While gut feeling and informal conversations are valuable, relying on assumptions alone can leave critical issues hidden beneath the surface. Data gives us a clear, evidence-based picture of what’s happening — helping us make informed decisions and take meaningful action where it matters most.

When we have the right insights, we can pinpoint what’s working, spot risks early, and focus our efforts where they’ll have the greatest impact. Without data, we’re left guessing. With it, we can make confident, targeted changes that improve team wellbeing and performance.

That’s why we’re excited to announce an important update to our Workforce Wellbeing Index Survey. For the first time, participating organisations will now have the opportunity to access wellbeing data at team level — giving you a deeper understanding of the unique needs, strengths, and challenges within your teams.

Why Team-Level Data Matters

Workplace wellbeing isn’t one-size-fits-all. Different teams face different pressures, cultures, and challenges — and what works well for one group may not work for another. Team-level data allows you to go beyond broad organisational and sector trends and uncover insights that drive targeted, meaningful action.

With access to this deeper level of insight, you can:

  • Spot trends early — Identify rising stress levels, potential burnout risks, or disengagement before they become bigger problems.
  • Tailor support effectively — Use real insights to focus resources, tools, and conversations on the areas your people need most.
  • Empower managers and leaders — Equip team leaders with the knowledge and confidence to better support their people.
  • Measure progress over time — Track improvements, demonstrate impact, and celebrate successes across different teams.
  • Drive culture change — Use evidence to build a proactive, supportive workplace culture based on real needs — not assumptions.

This new level of reporting gives you the clarity and confidence to make decisions that improve wellbeing, strengthen performance, and build a more resilient workforce.
