Scottish Parliament Election Hustings 2026

MAS Scottish Parliament Elections Hustings April 14th 2-3:30pm

Ahead of the upcoming Scottish Parliament elections, we will be hosting an online hustings for our members.

A hustings is a public election event where representatives from political parties are invited to outline their priorities and answer questions from the audience. It provides an opportunity to hear directly from candidates, compare approaches, and explore how different parties would respond to key issues.

We have invited representatives from all of the major political parties in Scotland to take part. This event will focus on the issues that matter most to Scotland’s money and debt advice sector, including problem debt, council tax arrears, housing-related debt, financial wellbeing and the wider cost of living. It will give you the opportunity to hear directly from party representatives about their priorities, and to ask questions about how they would support people experiencing financial difficulty across Scotland.

The event will be held online, making it accessible to members across Scotland.

We encourage all members to attend, contribute to the discussion, and ensure that the voice of Scotland’s money advice sector is heard during this election period.
