Research

Publication coming soon

Over the past few months, we’ve been working on two new pieces of research for the money advice sector. We’re excited to announce that that we’ll be publishing the first report on the lived experience of people in debt in the next few weeks. The second piece, on a workforce strategy for the money advice sector will follow.

Keep an eye on this page and our Twitter and LinkedIn accounts for updates.

Client Experience methodology

Our research into the lived experiences of people in debt will be published over the next few weeks. The research was split into two phases.

Phase 1: Survation poll of c.1000 adults in Scotland to capture attitudes towards and experience of debt advice. This identified participants for phase 2.

Phase 2: 30 depth interviews with people who identified as being in problem debt split between those who went on to get advice and those who didn't.
