Online banking has become the norm for managing our finances and with the closure of many local branches, it’s now more important than ever to be confident in using it. But we’re aware that not everyone is accustomed to online banking and it can be daunting to have to manage your money digitally if you’ve never done it before. That’s why we’ve launched MAS Online Bank – a free platform that allows users to practise completing common online banking activities such as setting up a direct debit or standing order, paying a contact, checking their balance and more.

Our platform replicates the experience of 5 different profiles, each mirroring different life circumstances, such as a young professional, a family with children and a retired person. This means that users can practise carrying out the types of transactions that are most relevant to them, in a safe and realistic environment with support from our Financial Capability team whenever they need it.
