What we do
Money Advice Scotland works to improve financial wellbeing, support people experiencing debt and strengthen the money advice sector across Scotland.
Our work is designed to make a difference at different levels
From helping individuals build confidence with money to supporting advisers in their professional roles, and influencing the systems and policies that shape people’s financial lives.
We do this by:
Helping people build financial knowledge, confidence and resilience.
Supporting money advisers through training, learning and professional development.
Promoting the wellbeing of the money advice workforce.
Carrying out research and gathering evidence about the issues affecting people and advisers.
Using that evidence to influence policy, practice, and wider change.
By bringing these areas together, we aim to improve outcomes for people in debt, strengthen the organisations and professionals who support them, and contribute to a fairer financial system in Scotland.
