Consultations & engagement

The experience and expertise of our members play an important role in helping Money Advice Scotland understand the issues affecting the money advice sector and the people it supports.

Turning experience into impact

We regularly engage with our members to gather their views, experiences and insight. This helps inform our policy positions, consultation responses and wider work to influence policy and practice.

Have your say

From time to time, we'll invite members to contribute to consultations, surveys, and other engagement opportunities.

This gives members an opportunity to share what they are seeing in their work, highlight emerging issues and help ensure the experiences of money advisers and the people they support are reflected in our policy and influencing work.

Our consultation responses

Money Advice Scotland responds to consultations on issues relevant to money advice, debt, financial wellbeing, and the wider sector.

Our responses are informed by evidence, research and, where appropriate, the experiences and views shared with us by our members.
