Membership of Money Advice Scotland is free.
There is no fee to apply or to remain a member.

We welcome applications from:
People working in the free money advice sector,
Insolvency practitioners and private sector advisers,
People working for third sector organisations in areas such as debt, housing, money and poverty
If you're unsure whether you're eligible, please contact us on the email below and a member of the team will be happy to help.

Membership is offered on an individual basis, rather than to organisations.
If several people from the same organisation would like to become members, each person should submit their own application.

You can apply by completing our online membership application form.

Once you've submitted your application, a member of the Money Advice Scotland team will review it and get back to you as soon as possible.
If we need any further information to consider your application, we'll contact you.

No. Once you've become a Money Advice Scotland member, your membership continues from year to year and you do not need to reapply annually.

Membership gives you opportunities to connect with Money Advice Scotland and the wider money advice community.
Members can contribute to consultations and engagement activities, join our dedicated online member forum on Basecamp, connect and share information with others working across the sector, and keep engaged with issues affecting money advice.

Basecamp is our dedicated online forum for Money Advice Scotland members.
It's a space where members can ask questions, share information and experiences, discuss emerging issues, network with others working across the sector, and hear about relevant events and opportunities.

If you're already a Money Advice Scotland member but don't currently have access to the forum, you can request access using our online form.

We regularly engage with our members to gather their views, experiences, and insight.
Opportunities to contribute may include consultations, surveys and other engagement activities. Member contributions help inform our policy positions, consultation responses, and wider work to influence policy and practice.

Yes. As membership is individual, eligible colleagues from the same organisation can each apply for membership separately.
