Train the Trainer - 'Talking Money' 15th August


On Thursday 15 August 2019, Money Advice Scotland's Financial Capability team will hold the 'Train the Trainer - Talking Money' workshop, which is aimed at staff and volunteers who discuss financial topics with groups and individuals. Please note that this workshop will not offer training on benefits or debt advice.

Course Description

This training will help staff develop skills on promoting financial wellbeing in a group setting, with a view to empowering service users and focusing on long term remedies. It is aimed at staff who are not debt advisers but work with people who may experience money worries.

The workshop will start at 10.30 a.m. with registration, tea & coffee from 10.15 a.m.  The workshop will end at approximately 2.00 p.m.  Teas & coffees will be provided and there is a cafe in the Pentagon Centre and local outlets for lunches.

  • While Money Advice Scotland always endeavour to be as fair as possible in the allocation of training places, the final allocation of places will be at the discretion of Money Advice Scotland.
  • Money Advice Scotland is unable to cover any travel or epenses costs for this event.
