Adviser Wellbeing Training Our Wellbeing Training series is aimed at advisers, support workers and managers working in money advice or advice-adjacent fields, including housing and welfare rights. Our courses aim to support and improve wellbeing through a mixture of theory-based learning, practical exercises, and open dialogue. Our workshops are free of charge. These sessions are popular, with limited spaces, so we recommend booking as early as possible. Organisations interested in booking exclusive sessions for their staff teams are welcome to get in touch. Please contact [email protected] for all enquiries regarding our Adviser Wellbeing Training. These sessions are popular so we recommend booking your place as early as possible. The current sessions we are hosting include the following; Stress Management and Resilience This is the first workshop in our Wellbeing Training series and is open to advisers, support staff and managers. It focuses on understanding, identifying and managing stress and overwhelm. It explores various types of wellbeing and why workplace wellbeing matters, whilst considering ways to identify and manage stress and overwhelm. It also introduces different models of stress management and resilience and covers a range of strategies which can be applied to working life. Protecting Your Wellbeing This is the second workshop in our Wellbeing Training series and is open to advisers, support staff and managers. It focuses on self-care, setting boundaries and employing mindfulness techniques. The workshop will cover the importance of boundaries at work and discuss some strategies to maintain them. It will consider mindfulness tools to support wellbeing and reinforce the importance of self-care and creating a self-care routine. Talking About Wellbeing This is the third workshop in our Wellbeing Training series and is open to advisers, support staff and managers. It focuses on communication when it comes to wellbeing: understanding the importance of discussing wellbeing in the workplace, why and how to open conversations about your own or others’ wellbeing, as well as what to avoid. Manager Wellbeing Training This workshop is aimed at managers or seniors who have line management responsibility and explores how to create a wellbeing-friendly workplace culture. It hopes to help managers to understand various types of wellbeing, why workplace wellbeing is important and develop strategies to implement a wellbeing culture. It also considers how to improve approaches to wellbeing and how managers can support staff wellbeing. These sessions are connected and do not need to be completed in any particular order, but we would encourage attending all three. Demand for these sessions is high, therefore failure to notify of non-attendance less than 48 hours before the session will result in a £25 charge to your organisation Click here for upcoming sessions Manage Cookie Preferences
