The Conference takes place on Thursday 22nd & Friday 23rd May at Crieff Hydro Hotel, Perthshire.

Health Wealth & Happiness will appeal to a wide audience including money advisers, welfare rights officers, leaders and managers from the credit, banking and debt collection industries, Insolvency Practitioners, mental health professionals including community Psychiatric Nurses and others involved in the care of individuals with health problems.

Last year over 240 delegates from the money advice, banking, credit, debt collection and insolvency sectors attended the 2007 Conference. This year we're looking good, with more interest and bookings at the end of March than ever before..

A Fairer Local Tax for Scotland
The Scottish Government's consultation, 'A Fairer Local Tax for Scotland', contains proposals to abolish council tax and replace it with a local tax based on ability to pay. The document is available on their website: http://www.scotland.gov.uk/Consultations/Current

The closing date for response to the consultation is Friday 18th July 2008. People are encouraged to respond online and visit the new section on their website http://www.scotland.gov.uk/afairertax for more information.
