Membership is open to any individual or organisation interested/ involved in the promotion of free money advice, credit granting, or who are supportive of the
aims and objectives of the organisation.
Membership is on an annual basis, running from
1st January each year. The category of membership offered will be
determined by an individual’s/organisation’s involvement in money advice.
The two possible categories of membership are as follows:
- Full voting membership is open to individuals and groups promoting or providing free, independent, impartial,
confidential money advice to the public, having no commercial interest in the granting of credit or the recovery of loans.
Full members can also play their part by helping to shape policy.
Full members must be able to demonstrate they have a Consumer Credit license for the provision of debt counselling. - Non-voting Associate membership is open to any other individual, group, business or trade association supportive
of the objectives of the association.
