Getting Help With Debt
If you are looking for help and advice with a debt problem remember that you are not alone. There are several ways you can obtain help and information.
There are many agencies throughout Scotland which offer free, independent, impartial and confidential advice.

Advice on consumer issues:
Access advice with consumer issues (problems and disagreements you may be having with suppliers of goods or services) via the new Consumer Direct Service (Scotland only).
The service can be contacted by telephone - 08454 04 05 06. The information and advice helpline is available from 0800-1830 Monday to Friday, and 0900-1300 Saturday, excluding bank holidays and public holidays
