It is Conference time again and this year is our 21st birthday. We hope the “Crieff Conference” will be a bumper one for Money Advice Scotland attracting delegates from all parts of the industry including money advisers; creditors; debt collectors; credit unions; insolvency practitioners amongst others.
This year’s conference on 21 and 22nd June 2010 will focus on the impending new legislation – Home Owner and Debtor Protection and other related legislation; changes to the Debt Arrangement Scheme; the changing face of the financial services sector.
Conference will provide the usual opportunities for networking, and as ever will be the biggest training event of the year for money advisers and others alike. Our workshops will also focus on the changes to the legislation; bankruptcy and how the new legislation will impact on the credit/related sectors, and money advice sectors alike. We are likely to include a panel session.
To help recover from all the hard work at conference, we have our usual Gala Dinner, which will be very special this year given it is also our birthday party! Why not come and join in the fun and help us celebrate?
